Yvonne Frederick

Marketing & Sales Director

Yvonne. With more than thirty (30) years of experience in owning and managing her own successful small businesses in both clothes manufacturing and jewelry making, Mrs. Frederick has developed and polished her extensive management; organizational and marketing skills.  She has proven aptitude and expertise in business administration and management.  In addition, she was responsible for the marketing and management of the clients and maintaining their accounts.  

 

Through the years Mrs. Frederick continued to hone and developed her management, marketing and organizational skills through her experience as the Managing Director and Art Consultant for the registered entity Crosswinds; responsible for the sourcing of funds and the organization and supervision of several Art Exhibitions in the Jamaica, the Caribbean and the United States.  

 

Her keen business acumen and marketing skills now server her well at HoneyKist.  As one of the first "touch-points", she is customer/client oriented and ready to serve in an effort to ensure a win-win outcome in all our relationships and partnerships.

Michele. With over twenty-two (22) years working in architecture and project management in i) Washington, D.C. where the majority of her work centered on the design and project/construction management of large-scale office buildings in the D.C. metropolitan area; ii) in Jamaica in luxury hotel design and management of project construction, contributing significantly to the work on various Sandals and Superclubs all-inclusive hotels in Jamaica and the region; and iii) with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) as a Multi Sectoral Specialist in their country office in Jamaica; Mrs. Michele Frederick Johnson has developed extensive managerial skills from a comprehensive portfolio of (local and international) architectural projects.

 

Her experience is business development and project management, strategic planning, procurement and contract administration has parlayed directly into her role as Managing Director for HoneyKist. 

 

Mrs. Johnson is committed to the growth and development of not only HoneyKist as a family business and manufacturing company; but also to expanding the role HoneyKist will play as a SME in the economic and social development of the Community, as well as, Jamaica as a Nation. 

 

 

Malcolm. With over fifteen (15) years of experience working in the field of quality control management and in the supervision of food and beverage production/processing operations in Jamaica.  During his years of extensive work experience in the food and beverage management profession, Mr. Frederick has been responsible for the quality assurance of three commercial bakeries and dairies island wide, thus gaining significant experience in milk and juice production lines as well as commercially baked products. 

 

Mr. Frederick has gained wide-ranging knowledge, skills and practical experience in a broad array of food and beverage theory and practical applications including the expertise necessary to succeed in the food production/manufacturing industry. His career has more than adequately prepared him for the many complex and ever changing elements and challenges of the food processing industry.

 

He has also served for several years on the Food and Technology Institute (FTI) sub-committee of the Scientific Research Council which looks at the development of food products, formulations and processing methods.  His achievements along with the knowledge and on the job experience gained has put him in good standing to plan, design, supervise and manage HoneyKist's food processing and R&D operations; ensuring every product is a quality product of the very highest standard.
